And no, i'm not licking his ass or justifying his attitudes, but some people act like they never acted/said/done something like what he says. I have my principles, I know what's wrong or not, when someone is jocking or not and honestly, some people just see black or white. It's already annoying.

I thankfully have a sense of humor, don't see offenses and attacks everywhere and have in mind more important things to judge people.

Is it bad that i almost agree with all your opinions? Not comments, opinions.
I didn't speak before because i don't like argue with 'anonymous members', but this went too far...
So...my opinion; i admire this guy and i don't like misogynist jokes. And yes, i think is nat the first time, twitter is like...facebook, a big drama sometimes, and people sometimes forget to easily.
Some people have traumas, and don't know how to deal with that, and sometimes makes jokes about it because they don't know how to handle that. I understand. And i understand too that we can't judge other people's morality, because moral issues are PERSONAL. And with that, came all this fights about all of our differences.

I don't know what is in Frank's mind. I just think things, because i'm not him, i'm not her friend...so i only can accept or not his opinions or jokes. But i'm a very loyal person, and if i said that morality is a personal issue, i have the right to stay truth with my admiration to him, or just go away and blocked him from twitter. We all have that right and we all can be therefore.

I'm not here to change people's opinion. I said that i agree and i tried to understand every word that i've read here, because i like to respect everybody. But i run a site where we translate interviews to spanish and i remind this:

These anon comments are reminiscent of another who has spent the last two years posting accusations of Gerard being a sexiest/woman hater/allthingsevil/pedophile/childabuser, etc.... and if you disagree you are stupid, drank the koolaide, etc. But once again, we attack others under the cloak of "anon" and then justify it by saying it is the internet so we have every right.

Many of Frank's tweets are sarcasm to provoke crap. He is a button pusher and a self proclaimed "asshole." You either laugh or shake your head and move on.

I have no idea why people think Gerard is evil; I have no problem with him. But are you actually surprised that many people are offended with some of what Frank says? There have been numerous times where Frank has said how an act of violence against a woman is justified (such as his tweet about Jersey Shore), and a lot of them are obviously not sarcasm. We have a right to express our disgust at what he, and others, say.

And saying that we're offended by his comments isn't the same as attacking Frank.

I find it offensive to hear or read that kind of thing because I've suffered violence and sexual assault, and to hear people casually, mindlessly, happily, and unapologetically make light of such things in the name of "stupid humor" makes me feel like dirt. I don't really understand why people are arguing here. Some people are offended by Frank's words. Others are not. So what's the big deal?

As for myself, I can only tell you that I was an MCR fan way back when people thought all of them were nice guys who actually cared about their fans. Back then they were just starting out and they wouldn't have dared to piss people off or "offend from afar" on purpose, just to get a cheap laugh. They wouldn't be where they are now if they'd done that.

That was a much more innocent time and perhaps all of us were deluded and ridiculously naive, but I can't help but miss it.

I deleted my journal a while back, but I still lurk occasionally. I don't think I'll continue to do that anymore though, because I'd like to take at least a few good memories with me.
