all i mean to say, and i'm posting a lot in this thread so i'm going to stop soon, is just that you can't assume that frank is this type of a person or that type of a person just from two things that put on Twitter for goodness sake. he admitted himself that he just wants to get a rise out of people-- i take that to mean that he doesn't believe in what he's saying.

what else can i base my judgment on? this is the face he's chooses to show his fans, and it's misogynistic. and it's more than two things, there was also when he said how he wishes a woman had aborted her baby by sitting on a coat hanger. disgusting and sexist! and i'm sure there's more, but i've tried not to read what he posts.

even if he doesn't believe what he's saying, he's still posting sexist things! being ironically sexist is just as shitty, especially when not everyone realizes that you're joking. like i said, fans may actually think he's being honest, and that's really problematic.

i understand why you'd be offended. it's honestly not an uncommon brand of humor these days so that's what makes me think that it's not coming from a place of misogynism.

not saying that makes it OK for him to recklessly hurt and offend people by saying that stuff, just saying that i think the intentions here are a little misunderstood. intention is a big part of what you should take into consideration when judging someone.

i do understand where you're coming from. but though he might not be trying to be intentionally misogynistic, what he's saying still is. it's probably just a case of what he's saying is sexist rather than him actually being sexist.

i guess we just have to agree to disagree on what his intentions are, especially as neither one of us know him and so can comment on what they might be.
