My Chemical Romance Dazzle Album Release Party  
To celebrate the release of fourth album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, emo standard bearers My Chemical Romance used their recent metamorphosis into the action heroes of a fully-realized comic book universe to trick out LA's House of Blues as a skewed MCR-branded carnival, complete with midway games and costumed video villains wandering the parking lot.

Live Review: My Chemical Romance — House of Blues, Sunset Strip  
Timeless rock bands are like superheroes.

There's mystery surrounding them. They're larger than life. They can open up new perspectives. They have the power to save the world. Led Zeppelin thrived on that mysticism, while Queen effectively brought bombast back. Pink Floyd treated everyone to the ultimate space trip, and The Who made the world a better place.

My Chemical Romance wielded sonic superpowers all their own during their triumphant release show for Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys last night at the Sunset Strip House of Blues.

HOLLYWOOD — My Chemical Romance went to the brink and back to make their new album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. So, as you can probably imagine, on Monday (November 22) — the day Killjoys hit stores — they were in the mood to celebrate.

And how did they go about doing that? By buying their album, of course.
