AP Interview with deadmau5 and Gerard
Early last year, electronic dance music fulcrum DEADMAU5 and My Chemical Romance frontman GERARD WAY teamed up to record "Professional Griefers," one of 2012's best singles. While both men built their formidable reputations coming up through different cultures, these days, they'd rather pile tons of rulebooks on top of said communities, pour gasoline on them and watch them burn.

Gerard Way: Glam Rock

My Chemical Romance's frontman grew up a metalhead, but when he heard Iron Maiden's lead singer, Bruce Dickinson, cover Mott the Hoople's "All the Young Dudes," he discovered a whole other world. "I knew I had to find out more," Way says. "To some people, glam is just about makeup. To me, it's a very magical thing--almost like witchcraft."

Your mod feels she deserves a major award for sitting through this article long enough to transcribe it when what she really wanted to do was close it out in disgust by the second paragraph. Please direct your love and devotion to her in the comments.

Though, she does apologize for any inaccuracy in the transcription. It's difficult to leave off important punctuation when she has been the habit of putting it in since she was a wee thing.

The Black Parade tour nearly killed MCR
In tomorrow's Kerrang! magazine, we publish the first part of our world exclusive interview with My Chemical Romance.

In it, the band talk openly about their new album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, and how the pressures of touring nearly forced them to split up.

"There was injury upon death upon illness [during The Black Parade tour]," guitarist Frank Iero tells Kerrang!. "It really felt like we were being run along a cheese-grater. We were leaving bits of ourselves all over the world!

"When something drains you as much as it did after Black Parade, you end up not knowing if you want to do it anymore," he adds. "You still have the love, but maybe not the want. There was something in the back of my head asking, 'Is this going to happen again? Are we done?'."

To read the full interview, make sure you pick up a copy of this week's Kerrang! magazine, in stores tomorrow.
