If we don't call it racist, how will we ever learn how to not be racist, recognize racist behavior and fix ourselves? It's important for my friends, family, acquantinces to use that word on me so that I know, hey this isn't okay. You teach and learn by using that word, not by burying it.

I hope eventually you'll be more okay with labeling things as they are. I understand the desire to sugar coat but it does no one any good to do so, including people you love and admire.

so, if a person doesn't accept homosexualism, for an example but has nothing against it, should this person be labelled as homophobic?
