And one more time: when someone tells you "this is offensive" "this is sexist" "this is racist", you take a step back, you think about it and you apologize. The burden is always on you to make it right, never on someone who is hurt. I understand the desire to backlash against something like this, I do. I was like that for a very long time. But when someone does something stupid, like yes misusing "tranny" or retweeting something that is problematic and they are called on it, examine yourself.

Additionally we are all burdened with being ableist, sexist, homophobic, racist. These are things that should be confronted and dealt with, it makes us better and stronger people. Not weaker.
