Speed Reading the Hits

This week we’ve got a contest for you like no other. We want to see just how fast you can read the lyrics to “Thank You For The Venom,” “Mama,” “Welcome To The Black Parade,” and “Helena.” There’s no time limit, and you must be speaking clearly. No mumblers allowed. Here’s the hook: you have to do this all in one video without stopping. Upload it to YouTube and post it as a video response to THIS VIDEO. Whoever is the fastest, wins the contest. The winner gets to pick any two t-shirts from the MyChemicalRomance.com store that they want. This whole thing ends on 4/23/2010. Good luck!

...I might do it though, I talk really fricken fast. My only problem will be ignoring the melody when speaking it. I'll be to tempted to sing.

I just don't get why they keep holding contests. One or two fine but this is turning into an every couple weeks thing. I'd much perfer the album already. -KT

Exactly. At least it shows they're paying attention, you know? Or someone is. And I'd be willing to bet Warner is watching the fan response pretty closely, as a metric to gauge how much interest there is for when they do the release.

Fun contest but I sort of wish they would do something other than videos so I could enter them. I'm just going watch everybody else *shrug*
