I loved 500 Days of Summer so I'm happy about this. I hope he does a great job with casting for the reboot too. I still don't really like Tobey as Spiderman and Kirsten as Mary Jane. =/

No idea about the story yet but they're starting from scratch with the cast. I hope I like the ones for the reboot. The only person I liked from the Raimi films was James Franco, lol. I don't know what I would've done if I'd had to sit through another Spiderman movie with Kirsten's screaming. D:

Anton Yelchin was getting some buzz to be the new Spiderman. I'd prefer him over just about any of the names others have bandied about.
