Gerard Way's New Umbrella Academy Series and 'The Fabulous Lives of Killjoys'

Dark Horse Comics announced at the San Diego Comic-Con that My Chemical Romance frontman, Gerard Way, is writing a third Umbrella Academy series.

The first Umbrella Academy trade paperback is currently available with a second volume, The Umbrella Academy: Dallas, coming hard cover in September and in paperback in October.

Way is also writing a new series called The Fabulous Lives of the Killjoys. Becky Cloonan (Demo) is the artist. According to ICv2, Dark Horse’s Director of Public Relations Jeremy Atkins called the Killjoys “a psychedelic rock-and-roll road trip adventure geared toward both fans of The Umbrella Academy and My Chemical Romance fans.”
