I didn't think "Sing" could possibly be any sadder....

I was wrong.

But I really love that they added the sound effects for the rayguns and stuff... and even more than that, when Frank turns around at the end and they're shooting at him, you can hear the glass break behind him. I like that. ♥

It's amazing and all the Party Poison part is even more painful. Gracie's scream, the noise of the lasers hitting the glass door around Fun Goul...Painful and amazing.

I was hoping they would put the slow motion stuff in there, cause there seemed to have been more of it in the trailer. And I thought it was going to be an important thing, but they kinda glossed over it in the first video. So I'm glad its there. Oh god this was so much sadder than the original though!

Also, you were looking for credit for your icon... I made it. ♥ (i get overly excited when I see my icons. makes me happy.)

Just as I was finally getting over the total heartbreak of SING they release this version... which is impossibly worse *_* I like all the pewpew noises though :)

This version made me even sadder than the other, but that actually means it's better. I liked hearing the sounds and I loved the pause after Party Poison unmasks the drac. It shows how confused and upset that leaves him much better, which is important 'cause that's what gets him caught by Korse. :/

I saw the theory bought up somewhere else that it seemed like when Gerard ripped off that draculoids mask, he was in shock because maybe it was someone he knew and instead of being killed by simply being caught off guard he more so just sort of…..Gave up.

The longer cut of that entire scene seems to support that theory even more. His reaction sort of indicates he knows the person. He has enough time to gather himself and he wasn’t disarmed before Korse pinned him. They stared each other down for a few long moments even, he had plenty of time to save himself but it’s more like he chose not too.

I still think (even more now) that the fact that he knew that person made him forget everything around him, and it's not as much that he gave up. He was left kinda stunned, when you can technically see and hear but are in your own world and unable to react.

Maybe I'm missing something but I just feel like that whole section is really confusing and makes me really frustrated. I just wanted to yell at the screen seeing him drop the mas, pick it up, look around doing the middle of a chaotic fight. Party Poison, needed to get his head in the game.

Am I the only one who hates this version? I thought the sound effects were unbearably cheesy an sounded really fake. They were more distracting than anything else.

i liked everything beside the ray gun effects. ruined it for me, because they were so cheesy and so many. other than that i love how it's shot and i dig the alarms and grace screaming *__*

I just feel like less is more. It's a music video, you're supposed to hear the music. If you want to focus on the story that's taking place, drop the music out for that section. Look at Ghost of You and how effective Mikey's death scene was without hearing all the gunfire going off.

But that's why this one wasn't the official version. 'Cuase it was supposed to promote the single, so you had to hear the music well. I find this pretty interesting as alternative version, though.

But if you think about it, it makes sense for the effects to be kinda cheesy. Just like the fight scenes in Na Na Na were (example: Gerard visible not even touching the drac he punches xD). I think some elements are meant to be kind of a parody of old action/science fiction movies.
