I seem to remember an interview a while back, about how the songs for TBP and DD were written in the studio and then the band went over them to figure out how to do them live, as opposed to Revenge, when many of the songs were written with playing live in mind. It's an interesting thing to contemplate.

That said, having seen them live a couple of weeks ago... they sounded pretty damn good to me. :\
